51 Miles Away is an independent alternative rock project from Augsburg, Germany, founded by Sven Frei (vocals, songwriting) and Andy “Sharky” Schaper (instruments, production).
Our music combines atmospheric guitars, electronic textures and melancholic melodies with deeply personal lyrics about love, loss, doubt and hope.
We create original songs with a strong emotional identity and a cinematic approach to storytelling.
We’re open to creative collaborations, especially with female vocalists who would enjoy bringing their own interpretation and ideas to our existing songs. Remote collaborations are welcome.
